The
Radvision Scopia Elite 5000 series MCU is the latest 1080p30 full HD
multipoint conference unit (MCU)/bridge in the video conferencing
industry. It is a non PC based H.323
and SIP MCU for hosting multi-site full HD video conferencing sessions and
telepresence sessions, using the very latest state of the art DSP
technology for 1080p30 full HD processing and telepresence connectivity.
There
are 3 models of Radvision Scopia Elite 5000 MCU:
1. Radvision Scopia Elite 5110 (in a compact 1U 19”
rack mount chassis)
2. Radvision Scopia Elite 5115 (in a compact 1U 19”
rack mount chassis)
3. Radvision Scopia Elite 5230 (in a compact 3U 19”
rack mount chassis).
The
Radvision Scopia Elite 5110 full HD MCU supports the following capacities:
1. 10x 1080p30 full HD port (1920x1080pixels video
resolution @ 30fps) for H.323 and web conferencing endpoints
2. 40x 352p30 SD port for H.323 and web conferencing
endpoints, using 4x increased capacity mode
3. continuous presence video layout
4. 100 Scopia desktop Pro client licenses with
presence window to see who is online (this feature does not utilize MCU
ports)
5. 120 streaming connections
6. recording of
live video conferencing sessions.
The
Radvision Scopia Elite 5115 full HD MCU supports the following capacities:
1. 15x 1080p30 full HD port (1920x1080pixels video
resolution @ 30fps) for H.323 and web conferencing endpoints
2. 60x 352p30 SD port for H.323 and web conferencing
endpoints, using 4x increased capacity mode
3. continuous presence video layout
4. 150 Scopia desktop Pro client licenses with presence
window to see who is online (this feature does not utilize MCU ports)
5. 180 streaming connections
6. recording of
live video conferencing sessions.

1. 30x 1080p30 full HD port (1920x1080pixels video
resolution @ 30fps) for H.323 and web conferencing endpoints
2. 120x 352p30 SD port for H.323 and web conferencing
endpoints, using 4x increased capacity mode
3. continuous presence video layout
4. 300 Scopia desktop Pro client licenses with
presence window to see who is online (this feature does not utilize MCU

The
Radvision Scopia Elite 5000 MCU can support 1 or multiple concurrent
multipoint video conferencing sessions at any time. Besides H.323 and SIP endpoints, it also support web conferencing endpoints (i.e. PC using web
cam and web browser, without H.323 or SIP licensed software).

Radvision Scopia Elite 5000 series MCUs are delivered with the iVIEW Suite with internal Gatekeeper for conference
scheduling and management.
To
allow H.320 ISDN video conferencing systems to join multipoint meetings
hosted by the Radvision Scopia Elite 5000 series MCU, the optional Scopia
100 gateway will be required.
Another
feature supported by the Radvision Scopia Elite 5000 series MCU is the Scopia
Mobile. It is a free download for
Radvision Scopia Elite 5000 MCU users.
The Scopia Mobile extends conferencing and control to mobile devices
by providing an application for the Apple iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. With the Apple iPhone, users can easily
connect to a conference and participate by audio or select to be called
back on an alternate number. SCOPIA Mobile users can also view
presentations, spreadsheets, documents and images shared in a video
conference with H.239 interoperable data collaboration. Participants
can immediately review previously shared materials and catch up if they
arrived late to a meeting or spend additional time on critical points in
material presented. Additionally, SCOPIA Mobile allows participants and
administrators to directly control and manage video conferences through
their mobile devices.
